Throughout this unit, the student will be able to achieve the following
points:

> Practise introducing themselves and others
> Talking about where they are from.
> Learn to ask someone's name and nationality.
> Write addresses and phone numbers.
> Revise the use of the present simple.
> Practise using personal pronouns and questions with What, Where, Who.





CONTENTS

Listening


- Listen to a recording about an international exchange and complete a
dialogue.
- Listen and repeat some words so as to practise the pronunciation of
the sounds /w/ and /h/.
- Listen and repeat numbers practising their pronunciation.
- Listen and play a Bingo game.
- Listen and complete a table with information about a student exchange.

Speaking


- Look at a web page and ask and answer questions about it.
- Role play famous persons introducing themselves.
- Ask and answer questions about exchange students.


Reading

- Read a dialogue of teenagers introducing themselves and complete some
sentences.
- Find the countries for some nationalities in a reading text.
- Read and complete the Language workout section about the present
simple of be and personal pronouns.


Writing


- Write down the address and phone number of three students.
